We’re back!

All classes are starting again week beginning 20th September. There are two major changes: the Monday morning Aldersley class and the Monday evening Good Shepherd class have combined and will now be meeting at Perton Community Centre, by Sainsbury’s, on Monday mornings 10.30-11.30 starting 20th September.

Compton Hospice Christmas Donation 2017

Great news! £122.33 raised for our Compton Hospice Christmas appeal. This was started last year by Roma in the Wednesday afternoon class at Tettenhall Wood URC who suggested making a small donation in lieu of giving Christmas cards to friends in the class. All the other classes came on board and everyone wanted to do it again this year so it looks like becoming an annual event.

Many thanks to everyone who contributed.

Teacher training course

Unfortunately, the Level 3 Teacher Training course we hoped to run this year had to be cancelled but the Keep Fit Association in conjunction with the Exercise, Movement and Dance Partnership is hoping to run a Level 2 course in Wolverhampton in 2018.

This is a wonderful opportunity for anyone who would like to develop a career as a Keep Fit/Dance Exercise teacher.

Watch this space for details of a taster session in the New Year or get in touch with Mary if you think you, or someone you know might be interested.

Summer classes

We’re just coming up to the summer break and because the classes have gone on for more weeks this year we won’t be having any summer classes for charity but I’ll be making a donation to Cancer Research or Compton Hospice instead.

Classes start again in the week beginning 12th September when we’ll be raring to go with lots of new ideas. Looking forward to seeing all the regulars and, hopefully, some new faces too.

Have a good summer!
